Hello again, beautiful people of SG!
First of all, sorry for being absent for quite a bit. As some of you might now, as I've been posting on my instagram and the such, I've been trying for quite a while to start my own business. Well, the reason on my disappearance was, indeed, related to that. Thursday last week I got the approval and my life this last week was to completely focus on it... my bad!
So, I'm finally my own boss! High five with myself! It's small but better start easy than losing everything on the way... right? So, let's roll!
First day getting the space and, can you see that circle in the right side? That fucking blue circle took three damn days to finally be covered with sweet white paint. I actually thought of smashing the wall, but it'll cost me the money to fix it and, well, let's say rats are richer than me ha ha.
We spent the first couple days painting, putting upthe changing room and fixing lights and all the nice and funny part.
As you can see, there are some rails already with some clothes and the basics of the changing room are up and nice. "What's that thingy on the ground?" You asled? That's a whole structure that we had to built from scratch to cover the back door because the building is old and now it's almost illegal to have that door so people can open it. A pain in the ass, that's what it is.
And this is my baby now. It's not as nice as I would like it to be, but it's a start, as we didn't have neither the funds nor the time... but it's gorgeous! The fabric of the changing room is covered in old school tattoo designs and the desk at the end it's a 1940's antiques I got almost for free (compared for how much it should've cost me).
Asyou can see, I'll be selling vintage clothes and rockabilly and 40's to 80's style. I've been a vintage freak for the last 5 years and I've always been working for someone else and not getting enough so I said "fuck it" and here we are!
So... yeah, that's what's been going on. I'll be back from now on and thanks for not getting upset and stop following me. Love you all!
