For some reason, my last journal entry was also replaced, unbeknownst to me. Hopefully it's nothing serious and I'm just crazy and computer illiterate. Also hope it has nothing to do with my new profile pic, because I like it a lot.

I'm going to add my last journal here - the one in which I was frustrated about getting into the buresque show.
I'm...

How did your journal erase itself. Looks like it's still here to me. That sucks that you thought you were going to get in for free but now it's somewhere else. Bad planning but oh well. Hopefully you get there early enough to get a ticket or else someone got one for you. Being your birthday tomorrow and all but then again you can't count on that. Unfortunately so.. take care, Tiffany kiss

Just saw Farenheit 9/11.
Wow - I feel like I need to see it again, or contemplate it longer before coming up with something insightful to say.
whatever
I did, however, spend the rest of the night talking about life, the universe and everything with a good friend of mine. He's a magician. Although he claims not to be really "magic", on nights like tonight I...

Hmm. Iiiiiii'mmmm actually not at the shop anymore. But talk to Danica (or on SG, better known as "Danica") and she will serve all your needs.

Wierd weekend.

Because of work, I was unable to attend the SG Van event. Sounds like I missed out.
I did, however, try to make up for this; there was the Tapa Bar, the familial bonding over board games (..and enjoying it!!) as well as work.

Yes, I call it work.

Ooh, am getting tickets to see Rev Horton Heat in Vancouver this month! I...

That the Tapa Bar in Trounce Alley downtown?
I've yet to see the Reverend. Not from lack of trying, just the fates continuously conspiring against me.
godlessnerd:
swing dancin' eh? that sounds fun smile you can come by afterwards, i dunno if we will be barbquin' that late, but you can still come and chill out.

Listening to Badly Drawn Boy and feeling mellow. Just got up from a massive nap, brought on by a huge lunch with my family (as well as the useless staying up until 3 am listening to records, writing or drawing).

The election results were pretty much what I had expected; each part of the country voting differently... Which means that we end up with the...

Do you remember your first time voting? Feeling part of the democratic process? Like your ideals really made a difference?
The second time round isn't quite so thrilling. frown
I will, however, watch the election in on the telly - it makes me feel like part of the greater good (ie. not conservative). It's also a good excuse to stare blankly at the screen, moaning about...

Interesting times ahead in Canadian politics methinks. Glad you went and voted, I know too many people who didn't frown
I havn't seen enough John Waters films. Only Crybaby and Pecker. Although to my credit I did see both in the theatre. Which one(s) do you recommend?
bloodonherdiary:
I usually end up voting in the major elections, but tend to forget to in smaller ones. As long as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer I'm content. wink Hmmm, what to do this weekend?? confused

Writing a new journal and getting rid of my popular page of comments. Even if most of them were Dillenger trying to escape from work. eeek

Saw Bettina and Malloreigh at a show tonight at Logan's. Also a girl that I had met at the Fetish show (we were both memorably flashed by a man in a kilt). Was a good show, and I enjoyed the...

Had a faboo time downtown with Sara today! She even helped me feel at ease playing pool. The beer helped, I think.

Turns out I might be making some costumes for the Fetish show on July 30th. I haven't ever worked with pvc before, but am interested. Also - mandress anyone?

Narrowly missed call from Dave. Ack. Maybe I will have to talk about my...

Where's the Fetish Show. Sorry to hear that the situation didn't sort itself out. He may be completly clueless, like me, and need things spelled out for him. Try hand puppets, they help biggrin
The movie/album thing is pretty cool. Start the music after the last roar of the lion when the MGM is up. Makes you wonder who the hell noticed this first.
tiffanymarie:
Well, I hope you have fun trying to figure this whole out. Although I kind of doubt it would seem that they do line up while sober. Hmmm... never know till you try it I guess.

Take care, Tiff

Very long day.
Lots of inventory at work, but it gave me time to watch SNL's Best of John Belushi. love
Had a lovely familial dinner (steak and potatoes and asparagus, which I seem to be getting better at). Even played badminton briefly with Mum.

Marilyn gig was fun. There were some girls I went to highschool with there, and I felt as though I was...

Drag queens are awesome!!!! I wish I knew one.

But asparagus.... puke . My parents tried to force feed me that once and now I can't even smell it without getting sick.
yawg:
Glad the show went well. I really want to see it. Boytoy must have read your mind which simplifies things for you.
