WARNING I AM ABOUT TO VENT. You have been warned.

If the warning didn't give you a hint I am one steamed lady. This afternoon a gentlemen made a comment that insulted both men and women alike. I, stupidly, felt the need to defend both sides. It turned into a full on battle that turned to hateful comments. In the end I felt threatened and insulted. Needless to say, i did the right thing and left the conversation.

My hands are shaking as I write this due to the frustration and anger I feel. What a way to ruin my fucking Friday.

In order to avoid another confrontation like this I will say this once and be done with it. If you feel that women should be subservient to men in ALL things please do not share that opinion with me. I am not a feminist but I do feel that women do not need a man to defend them at all times. I am a strong independent woman and I can clean up my own messes.

With that being said I respect men for their strength and ability to protect women. I understand that, at times, it is in your nature to protect us. Please let me ask for protection, don't try and force it upon me.

I hope this blog doesn't upset or offend anyone. That was not my intention. I just felt hurt by some comments that were made toward me and my sex. I love everyone and harbor no ill feelings towards the individual who made them.

P.S. Thanks for letting me vent. I hate keeping that sort of shit bottled up inside. It's terrible for ones complexion.
