well it seems that our road doubles up as a neat helicopter landing pad

heard a lot of sirens, helicopters flying about and a whole line of police cars bumper-to-bumper parked up. then 3 fire engines joined in. then 3 ambulances came. then the rest of thames valley police came. we were just on the way to our local supermarket.

it was an unmarked police car vs bmw z3 (apparently the 'bad guy') vs fiat punto (innocent driver). needless to say there wasn't a fat lot of fiat punto left but the fire brigade did a top job of turning it into a convertible and saving the lives of the occupants.

well that was enough excitement for one day. and i took a good photo, at last.
