I'm more of a cat person.

I kinda got into a little arguement over my dog tonight with my new roommate. She's older, so she's a bit more stuck in her ways, but she was arguing with my about what my dog is but I know what my dog's mother is.

Anywho, it was a bit annoying.

What's your take on shaving a dog? I know this time of year is not a good idea because it's starting to get cold, but I want to know what another dog lover/owner/expert (whatever) thinks about that. I felt like I was getting scolded because I shaved my dog a few months ago and she's basset/chow. (She has the thick double coat but yet my roommate tells me she doesn't...)

his kidneys failed and they can't put him on dialisis.....liver is ruptured....lung collapsed...no more oxygen to blood....last i heard he has 12 hours before everything shuts down.....
