i have permanent marks on my forearms from oil and scars on my finger tips from working with knives and oil. they hurt like a bitch when they happened, but after a while, when you pour hot oil on yourself or pick up a pan that just came out of the oven with your bare hands, you learn to live with the pain. aloe vera helps the scaring heal faster and also takes away the burning sensation. working in a kitchen, i almost daly drag my fingers across the griddle ro splatter deep fryer grease on my hands. sometimes i wonder if i'm in the wrong line of work. anywho, aprons stop that kind of burning from happening and come with goofy sayings on them! hope you heal fast.
