Decided to go to our land and camp for our anniversary/my birthday, tromp around and do other fun things.

Yay, it's so pretty there.

Some weird blimp/baloon thingy. It scared the binkles out of me! It's much closer and more menacing than this picture indicates.

Why did I have to choose such an expensive instrument?
Anyways, Jason repaired the hole in the c-rib of my cello, so at least it wont crack and spread more. Decided to try different strings and get a better bow (have a $700 credit from the violin shop since the bow they sold me snapped spontaneously by no fault of my own). Not ready to spend thousands of dollars on something that will likely be only slightly better.

YET ANOTHER EDIT:
I knew I was forgetting something. Things are going downhill faster than I expected. Everyone's dumping their US dollars (even cuba!), Russia's probably going to switch its trade in oil from US dollars to euros.
Typically I don't keep up with current events, simply because I'd cry all day (No kidding--I honestly don't know how people do it), but I'm going to make more of an effort, I think..
