Trust me, all my best stories are the ones that are just life for me. I'm going to be working on compiling some stories to expand on and try to put together in book form.

so this is an amusing entry for all of you faithful readers... i am the son of a wonderful technologically inept 3rd grade teacher. And as you can guess school is coming to an end as it is early june, so therefore report cards are due soon so my mother asked me to type up her report card comments for her. So i agreed and...

I've been in Bar Harbor for a year now. Stayed the winter here which sucked! I work at Geddy's Pub as a line cook. Last summer I worked at Rupununi's though. They recently reopened the trails where the falcons were, but they may have to close them again. smile

hellstorm:
good luck with the car....I find AC a must in my car.

then again, being an asthmatic (thank you mom!), well, there are reasons.

such as when you feel the asthma kick in when you walk from your car to the house because of the heat and humidity!

>plottinga move elsewhere<

good luck with it, though!

I can entertain more people in my farmhouse , than at my tiny beach house , plus the outbuildings on the farm can serve as guest quarters once I start remodeling them biggrin

It's fine - you've had good work done there in the past, it was fair of you to recommend them. All I can guess is that the guy who did my ears was being lazy or that he was a different one than the piercer who did your work. (He never introduced himself - a young guy with just a little facial hair?)

Anyway, I can't really recommend anywhere else in the Boston area. I've had good experiences at Chameleon, but they are super pricey. My favorite piercing studio is in Manchester, NH, and I think I'm going to continue to drive there to get work done - fairly cheap, looks like a doctor's office, and they'll work with you on anything short of implants. smile

yeah i like the beard better on you which is weird because i normally dont like guys with hair at all...the shaved makes you look younger too. biggrin
hellstorm:
wow, cleanly shaven. job interview? or summer heat?

as for the look, dunno....the one, well, you look like someone for the business world. the other, you look like a college student!

you chose!

as for "chick flicks", I consider movies like "Ya-ya Sisterhood" a chick flick. I kind of like City of Angels. give up everything for l*ve, and then have it all snatched away by a driver!

almost think Anthrax wrote that movie!

it was pretty hot today so i think ill go shave the old beard off now.. since i cant sleep anyway i think its a good idea.. guess ill post a pic in a bit. i kinda forget what my face looks like though... and tomorrow ill need some sun on the menu!

Ok ... I have seen this on the discovery channel before , would be nice to see it become a reality , I would not be able to stand living in such a place though frown I'm restoring the remaining 80 acres of a 200 plus year old farm so I can get away from the city , I work in NYC and hate being there biggrin

ahh, so desu ka. Nihon-go is interesting to learn.

(translations.....
so desu ka is "Is that so?" and "Nihon-go" is Japanese language)

I took a year of Japanese. I wish I could take more. very interesting language to learn. I do love the culture as well (the respect and everything). plus I try to use it whenever I can (I call my mom "ha ha", which is Japanese for "my mother".....they have another word for someone else's mother, and I call my younger sister "Imooto" which means "younger sister". the great part of it is I can get their attention in a crowd without giving away their name or any confusion!)

as for skyscrapers, sorry, I'm afraid of heights!
