Well I survived the plane ride, and to my great satisfaction it was not the plane ride FROM HELL (as one would expect when you fly on 6/6/06). No, it was a perfectly satisfying flight. I watched Sin City on my PSP, and caught a 20 minute nap before the flight landed. Ellen picked me up from the airport, and took me out to eat at a steak house. It was not the steak house FROM HELL, although I would have really liked to see that. Not eaten there so much, as I imagine it's pretty gross, but it would have made a much more interesting story than the one I'm telling now.
My mother has been very sad lately. She's been listening to some discourse on politics (although I'm unsure on which source she's getting her information), and it has made her horribly upset about the state of the world. When she's in these moods, and I'm in town, she buys me stuff in an attempt to make herself happy by making me happy. It rarely works, but I end up with new toys. This time she bought me a laptop, and although it's not the laptop FROM HELL, it turned out to be much less laptop than she thought she was buying. It will not play Everquest 2, and since this is the purpose for which she intended this new laptop, it's being returned in the next day or so. That'll learn ya to listen to sales people, mom.
Wednesday night was spent at Canter's, the world's most adequate diner, followed by a drive down to OC. Today was spent driving all over L.A., a trek I never took advantage of when I lived here. With good reason, really. Concrete pretty much looks the same wherever it's laid.
Friday I will have dialysis. I don't know what time yet, but if you're free that night and want to do something you should let me know.
Saturday is the wedding. I don't know how long I'll be there, but after the ceremony ends I will be spending time with friends for the rest of that day. That's what I'm planning on anyway.
Sunday there will be sushi. Yes, there will be, and if you like sushi, and don't mind eating sushi with me around, you are totally invited.

I would like to see the steak from hell. I would think it might be good because well steak isn't the best for you so it would taste great so you wanted more and more and more.
