A few things:
- just got back this past Thursday from being in Swan River for a week. My Grandpa passed away. I was in the room as it happened, and luckily got to sneak a hug and a kiss in - about 5 seconds before it actually happened. I was sitting there watching him sleeping and I noticed his breathing going down a LOT (it was becoming difficult for him to take in oxygen so it was very noticeable when he'd take a breath) and just got an instinct to run to him and say goodbye. And then it happened right when I finished. It was definitely the worst moment of my life so far. I am happy that my entire family was able to be with him for his last few days, though. And the suffering for him is over.
- I feel crappy and moody and horrible lately, and I am hoping these feelings go away soon. I am not sure what the cause is - though I am guessing it may be my way of coping with his death? I have never had a family member die before.
- My sister and dad are coming in to Winnipeg on Thursday. YAAAYY! I am so excited, it'll just be my sister and I at my place for once! She's getting a tattoo on Saturday so I get to go with her and just yay, I am excited.
UMMM YUP. Anyone want to exchange Valentines? I love Valentines day..... and all the cute heart shaped things that come out at this time
