hi world,
so i actually waited to blog until something interesting happened. just hang in here with me and i'll get to telling my interesting story. firstly, the guinea and the rabbit are getting along great and they seem to be loving sleeping outdoors and being outside in the "rabbit run" all day. they each have their own cozy bunker to sleep in at night and long run full of hay to explore, and get exercise in.
now, for what's interesting... last night hunter and i were watching A&E and getting all spooked from american justice and cold case files and the like, shows about solving gruesome murders. we paused it (since we have tivo) and went outside for a smoke. this elderly lady and her 38-45 yr old daughter live next door. immediately we heard noises of women screaming "help us" in a wailing and then muffled tone. i freaked out that the neighbors were getting murdered, especially because there was a car parked in their driveway that's never there. i was sure the crank addicted boyfriend of the elderly lady's daughter was hurting them...
so, i called 911 and in a shaky voice i told the lady on the phone my address and what i was hearing. she made me stay on the phone with her until the police got there. the police came in about 7 minutes and it turned out that they were just arguing and watching some gross movie really loudly. i was relieved. so yeah, that was last night.
while all that was happening, i was puffing on my last cigarette... my last one EVER. i quit smoking. i've quit before for extended periods of time and i don't find it that hard to quit. i just tell myself no more and stick to it. i mean, how hard can it be to NOT do something? you can just sit in place or something instead, lol. no, i know quitting smoking is really hard. it's just that i've quit before several times and i kinda feel like i've got a knack for it now. plus i know what it takes to not start again... that would be: never bumming, never dragging, never buying smokes, not standing with friends while they're smoking, basically just completely avoiding tobacco in general and never picking back up again. last time i made the mistake of a drag here, a drag there, and then started again. this time i won't. i'm quit. for good.
now... exciting news! i got my tongue piercing bar and balls resized today. yay! no more metal clanking around in my mouth and hitting my teeth. the piercer let me bum a pair of surgeon's gloves for changing the piercing with (to grip the metal despite the saliva acting as a lubricant), and gave me a free bottle of mouth wash i also bought a cute, pink, glittery, acrylic tongue ring for really cheap and put it in the first hole. it's all pretty much fully healed now. here are a couple pics i took of it today:
so yep! there it is. well, guess that's all for now folks. more when something interesting occurs...
