i'm sitting at work trying to care about work-related material, but i just can't.
our world is mad, there's no doubt about that, and the day-to-day nuances just don't seem to matter that much anymore.
i've protested. i've written countless emails to pro-war supporters asking them to reconsider, and anti-war supporters offering advice and support.
i wish i could do more. i feel as if i might as well of supported the insanity for all the good i've done.
all evidence to the contrary, i still believe that humans are inherently good (use whatever definition you'd like) and like all classic stories, good will prevail.
i can only hope.

Living in North Carolina, it really shouldn't surprise me that there's so much pro-war propaganda here but it still makes my stomach turn. There's a lot of anti-french bullshit going on here (freedom fries, and shit like that) as if that were really the point...
