A few months ago I got a text from an ex asking for a favor for her daughter. My first thought was burn in hell bitch but it was for her kid.
The kids school is really pushing girls into STEM programs and since I work for an engineering company I was able to get her interviews with four of the engineers here who are women.
Things have been pretty civil between me and the ex, so at this point I decide to do something absolutely stupid. Since she owed me a favor I asked her to be my date at my best friend's wedding. She said ok.
I'll be honest I wanted to show up with the hottest woman.
Fast forward to Monday and I got a phone call from her wanting to know if we were going to start dating again. I said no I just want you for the wedding.
Yup this is where she pulled the ejection handle.
I've been thinking about the bullet that I just dodged. After I asked her I remembered her mood swings and that I was bringing that potential time bomb to my best friend's wedding.
