I'm prettysure that this is not my year. So far I've seen 5 different 4 points and about 100 doe, unfortunately none of these are legal. I've been fighting through this cold pretty successfully but Monday afternoon it started winning and after I slipped and ate it out in the woods I've pretty much said fuck it.
I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation. A friend called me a baby for hanging it up, I told him to put his hand one my kneecap as I flexed. He did and pulled it back quickly when he felt what I've been walking around on. It's not a good thing when your knee makes an audible noise is it?
I've been hunting in two different places and I've noticed that squirrels everywhere are insane and a blast to watch. The big bushy red ones are really territorial, I saw one chase off a dozen or so others and even went after a crow.
Even when I don't get a deer I still have a great time in the woods.
