I took the day off for another reason but my plans got rained out so I went to see Ghost in the Shell. I'm a fan of the original so I wanted to see what they kept/disregarded in this version. As a whole I really liked this one, some of the changes I get, you have to cater to an American/Western audience to make money and that's what it's really about.

If you get a chance see this in a theater, the big screen makes a difference.
