I realize that I am an idiot and have a talent for opening my mouth at the wrong time. Thursday the asshole at the office that I made the mistake of going out with was talking in the lunch room about how her girlfriends said that she needs to loose 15 ponds and she will get a guy, so of course I have to open my mouth and say " you don't need to lose any weight, you're perfect the way you are". This is when she started glowing. I really need to learn to keep my mouth shut or I should have finished it with "you really need to work on your personality".
My boss called me into his office to ask what the hell I was doing. I don't know what the hell I was thinking, it was a moment of sheer stupidity. I got the lecture about the dust has finally settled from me breaking other off with her and now I do this. Fast forward to today at the office working some overtime and my boss shows up and after seeing what I'm working on he asks if I've heard from her, I showed him the 3 texts I've gotten and he noticed that they are all from after 1 am he chuckled and told me that I'm a dead man on monday.
Now a bit of something good. I was home Saturday afternoon and I bumped into a woman that lives in the next building over and we both have each others attention. I'm really interested to see where this goes.
