I told a friend of mine a long time ago that I was going to do my best to make you smile every day. This morning I did my usual and sent her an email with a funny picture, most of the time I just get a lol response but today I got a whole lot more than I wanted. I got an email telling me that she has breast cancer. Seriously what the fuck, not the news I want to get and definitely not the way I want to get it. Tomorrow she goes to see a specialist to see what the course of treatment will be.

I work with a mutual friend and she filled me in with a few more of the specifics.

I'm a scared about this.
