Last night was very surreal, a couple of weeks ago I bought two shotguns off of a friend, he made me a deal that I could not refuse (funny). His reasoning for all this was his 3 year old got into the closet, nowhere near his guns but the wife said get rid of them. Part of the deal that I wasnt too worried about was he has a bunch of shells that he wont need anymore, I said cool but I have a bunch and I really dont need anymore so if you know someone else who needs them go ahead and give them away.
This is where it starts to get surreal Nick is a dwarf so both of the shotguns had been shortened to fit him, he stopped by last night to drop off the shells, a little person walking up your sidewalk dragging a milk crate full of shells a sight that you need to see, it gets more strange, I showed him what I had done with his guns and he was impressed, the camo one got a new stock and I put a scope on it (it looks good) the all black synthetic one had a little different treatment done to it. I have another shotgun that is the same kind that I had modified so I bought a tactical stock for it and used the old stock to the new gun. Nick likes what I have done. I told him if he ever wants to use them I will put the old stuff on so he can.
Ok this is where it gets real strange the gun that I put the tactical stock on has a 28 inch barrel plus a 5 round magazine extension on it so it looks like a huge over under shotgun, in nicks hands it looks like an anti-aircraft gun, its taller than he is by a lot 52 inch long gun 46 inch tall person time to get the camera. Nick did the part from Full Metal Jacket this is my rifle, this my gun, I was damn near pissed myself laughing over this, that was the downfall I managed to dropped my sisters camera and it fucking snapped. I managed to loose some of the funniest pictures ever. I know I suck but even worse I owe my sister a new camera.
I think after an hour of good old honest rib splitting laughter from everyone it was all worth it.
