I hope this finds you well and good.
Do you even remember me? I'm never on anymore and rarely even look at sets or tag journals. Something had to give and its my internet life. Please know that I miss being here and part of the community.
They took the Taoism group away! I couldn't fucking believe it. What, were we taking up elbow room on the microchip? When I was in the mood I visited my group, looked to see who was on, maybey dropped by a journal. I didn't start arbitrary threads every day. It probably looked like a pretty slack operation but damnit its the Taoist group and I let it unfold organically. I didn't feel the need to create an arbitrary thread every day to create artificial traffic. I didn't just post replies like

Its all good obviously but Im sad there is no Taoist group (Im even sadder if it still exists but I have been kicked out!).
Otherwise I'm fine, all is well and happy. Went and saw the folks this weekend in Suburbia-Redneck and they are well. Punkerella and Captain Ebay were there as well as my girl (!). We ate incredable hamburgers and swam in the pool. I am now the happy owner of a well-earned sunburn. It was a very hip weekend.
And I saw the new Batman movie and it cheered my geek soul. Aaaaaaaah the well done comic book movie.

I am a bit anxious about my day job - it suddenly went from extremely cool place to work to worrisome in a single day. We shall see, we shall see.
Move in to the new place July 1, perhaps earlier if the landlord paints the place.
Even positive changes are stressful - I am tired from having to think/do/travle so much all the time. I am just weary of the whole damn thing. I'm looking forward to moving in with the girl (!) and spending a few quiet nights
Okay Im fucking dying. I have SUCH a big secret going on right now but i PROMISED that I wouldn't say a word to anyone and SUICIDEGIRLS was speicifically mentioned in the discussion. But things are good, ever so good. Im a happy guy.
A couple I know is having a babby, I think that's very cool. Most Positive Vibes out to the parrents and human-to-be.

Yeah, STILL continuing to find out about remakes bing released this summer. I absolutely can't believe this trend. Of course it will taper-off eventually when the garbage pushers realize this remake trend won't continue to work, especially not with this kind of sheer quantity-- at least, I hope not.
Anyhow, thanks for your thoughts and suggestions regarding my lovesick/brokenhearted bullshit. They were helpful. It's been a privilege at times, but generally, it's tough as hell to live with, and even tougher somehow to walk away from. I think I'm going through with the walkaway anyway. You just never really know, however, until you get to that moment, so we'll see. But the depression kicking in now that ten years are gone, my options seem more limited, the world seems smaller, and this beergut and double chin hanging off my neck are undoubtedly larger, is giving me a hell of a time.
You'll be updated regularly here, though I try not to get too personal on the journal/blog/board posts. I'll probably keep doing SG updates, unless I end up getting a perm, start donning a speedo, riding a moped and hanging out on the beaches of Greece somewhere real soon.
Not much chance of that.
