Yesterday, I pulled off what I can only consider a miracle of working hard and being very alert to an extremely dynamic political situation. I am still stunned that I managed to pull this off.

Since December, I've been on a dream contract thanks to the drummer of Sins of Lust.

Tuesday, my contract was terminated - along with everyone else that had been provided...

Well, I didn't end up working in Jamaica but I did get my business in high gear. My company is about 7 years old now and doing just fine. My website is www.polysolutions.net and I have a handful of high profile customers, some of whom I've had for a few years. Database management may be my work, but music is my passion. I've been doing...

I might have an opportunity to work in Jamaica as an Oracle DBA for an hourly rate that's double what I'm used to billing. And because it's off shore, there are plenty of ways to shield that money from the IRS. It's a year contract renewable, but it would require me to live in Kingston, Jamaica. My wife got excited about the extra money, but...

I put a Korg OASYS on Layaway last Saturday. If I didn't do that, the money would get spent on something else. And I can't afford to buy that thing (the 88 key model) all at once. Once I pay it off, that thing will control all the other keyboards. Its touch screen interface lets me control keyboard splits, voices, patterns, and foot pedal settings....

that will be very hip. I used to work at a pawn shop, loved demo'ing electric keyboards.

this xmas I want a new computer and a twenty minute hummer. Hmm, second thought I really don't need a new computer.

Got the music studio set up (my 6th BR in the house). I have the Keystation Pro and the Yamaha on a double keyboard stand and the Hammond on a single 'X' style stand to one side of the other two. So my keyboards are set up in an 'L' formation around where I now sit in my new studio and the 6 input Fender...

Oh, and what do you think about Wheel of Time book 11??

ph
punkinhead:
Have to admit, my new girl is the Wheel fan. She just gave me book one, going to start it right after I finish Bloodsucking Fiends for the third time.

I bought a new keyboard. A Hammond XK-3. That makes 3 sets of keys in my studio. The Hammond arrives tomorrow. I'm stoked!

I need a new computer - a laptop that can handle City of Heroes.

hope all is well,

My third journal entry. I haven't checked this thing in a long time. There are a lot of girls here now. Make no mistake - I'm happy to be married and happy with the lover I have for a wife, but damn are the ladies here nice to look at.

As long as looking is all I do. wink

Fully - its over for the dead, for the survivors the horror is just begining. Poor kids.

Thats cool your from Thailand. One of my best friends growing up was born here but his parrents were from Thailand and visited alot. I got to try alot of extremely exotic food and music when I was probably a bit to young to really apprecriate it.

Well, my second journal entry. I have to confess, I didn't sign up on SG to type in journal entries. The scenery was my main reason.

But I am gearing up for Dragon Con. Got two kick ass costumes that I have completed and modified and I'll be showcasing them. This Con is soooooo gonna RAWK!! skull

LMAO!! I added all 5 favorite suicidegirls to my friends list, thinking this worked like other journal archiving websites where you add a friend and they don't necessarily have to add you or even know you added them at all, etc. But no. This one is different. You can add a friend, but they don't actually show up as a friend unless they add you too - ACK!! Three of them rejected me outright. Two haven't responded yet, but I have to confess, the way my profile looked, I'd have rejected me too. I made a couple of updates to get rid of as much of the 'wierd motherfucker' image as I could.

But I do feel bad. The three girls that did reject me must have freaked out a bit when they saw my bio and whatnot. Though I'm still keeping them on my favorites area, lol.

I can't begin to imagine what kind of shit these women have to put up with. I mean with regard to people fixated on them, etc.

They are truly troopers deserving of our admiration and thanks ;-)
