Still waiting on the bass body to be finishedhavent received a price list for some items I inquired about, either. Im sort of impatient when it comes to stuff like this (read: stuff Ive been working on for at least a year), and Id like to get the ball rolling. I cant buy two pieces that I need until he quotes me. I want to make sure that I can buy it locally before I resort to the Internet.

Thinking about machining the bass bridge at the shop it wouldnt be too hard, but Im going to have trouble finding some actual dimensions. All this junk about proprietary. Pfft. Its that or spend $40-80 on one. While thats not too bad (the $40 is better, obviously), free is even better.

I cant use a standard Fender P-Bass pick guard either, because the body I drew in AutoCAD was a Deluxe Precision Bass body, and theyre slightly different than a standard P-Bass. Im going to have the control knob holes placed in a specific pattern, and then work around them in the event that I either have a custom pick guard made or I machine a control plate at the shop.

Looking at various places to buy the Tone Circuit, tooit looks like itll be around $125.

This little fucker is going to be expensive.
