Technically, the one in Portland is called Pioneer Courthouse Square. Yeah, the first time I heard just "Pioneer Square" re Portland, I thought, "Hey! I thought Seattle was the one with the Pioneer Square!" Boy was I wrong. Apparently it serves about the same function as the one in Seattle, though; it's the downtown meeting place for drunks, panhandlers, etc. Ah, life in the big city....

Thursday is my first day at the Garage. That's on Capital Hill, but then again, you knew that. Feeling frisky? Stop by and say hello. Me, I'll be in the kitchen learning how they do things at 6:00PM or so. Will I be shooting the pool or swigging the drinks when the kitchen closes? Most likely.
