Victims wouldn't be called victims, unless they suffered some catosprohpic fate. The sheer number of victims of World War II is enoug to make someone pause for at least a second. IT stirs reaction. Tragedy in any from can evok action from even the most lathargic of us. September 11th made us stop and think for a second. Those of us who were too busy, too wraped up in our own lives, perhaps to nieve, were awakend to the fact evil exists. Evil isn't always a super villain who wants mass genocide because some 2nd girl brooke his heart. Evil is good intentions, being misapropriated. A lot of us acting without malice can hurt those we care about.
Evil exists in more than one from. In my mind someone who profits from the tragedy of others (other than funeral homes, hey someone gotta do it!) are the most souless bastards out there. Comparing victims to monsters, for the sake of expressing your apprenhension twords capitalism is protected under free speach. But to critisize those who suffered, cause they helped parpetuate a system you don't believe in, for the sake of lining your own pockets!?!?! The thing of it is, both the author of those words and myself, knew there was a better way to epress those feelings. Via attacking the institution who called for those people to come to work that fateful day, rather some poor bastard who worked damn hard to feed his family. But again, the deeper the pathos you envoke with other people, the thicker your wallet is.
I for one do not condem the nazi soldiers who were responsible for the death of millions. I do not condem the members of our military who see the faces of the children they ordered to murder. A soldiers job is to FOLLOW ORDERS. Boot camp is set up to eliminate the human being in you. Human beings have emotions, emotions hold questions, questions cause hesitation, hesitation can cost someone there life. Being able to successfully silence the human in you is a feat I respect, but that is not my path.
I condem the people responsible for those orders. I condem those who do not feel remorse for their actions. Even more so i condem the wolf whose zipping up his sheeps fleece and step onto a stage, to to further there own agenda. I condem the media, who thrives on human suffering (ask yourself if thats true, how honest can they be???)
But i too am hypocrtie, and I too am evil. Its not place to condem the actions of others, i should be more passive in the sense that, i don't agree, and leave it at that. But perhaps my emotions have been stired to much, perhaps i'm feeling the sting of your words. But I hope the tidal wave of backlash that shall dethrowne you keeps you alive long enough to suffer!
