hey kids. I decided it was about time I did a quick update since it's been a little while.
not a whoooole lot has changed since the last blog. the new business is still flourishing. the first week of may alone, I have a huge order to make/ship to cali for a high school prom, and the next day I have a huge wedding order to make/deliver to Hilton head (here in sc). I'm so way stoked about it. can't wait for the day when I can maybe quit the day job (well .. I guess evening job) and just work on my dream full-time. ^_^ if you haven't checked it out yet, go to BabyCakes Charleston. I want soooo bad to finally one day have my own store front. one day. I had started a gofundme account to help me raise money for the business but .. didn't raise a single dollar. it's okay. didn't really feel comfortable creating it anyways. I rather people buy my product and support me by spreading the word instead of looking like I'm begging for money. =P

Of course .. my amazing t3i decided to just suddenly stop working last night after i made an easter order and now i'm screwed with no camera and will have to suffer to start having shitty cell phone photography in my store. :-( my luck.
the man and I rescued an amazing little fur baby. she's a pitbull/great dane mix .. will be two next month. she's so absolutely amazing. she came with the name dandylion .. so we just call her dandy. she gets more and more beautiful every day as we fatten her up and help her to grow stronger. she has been nothing but amazing. such a sweet heart. just in need of a little more obedience training since she goes into stupid mode and gets overly excited once a stranger starts showing her attention (and she gets a LOT of attention).
ugh .. I apparently can't add pictures on this thing either. guess I should have just updated on my phone again .. but I already started typing this so .. i'll post this and then go back on my phone and update it with all my pictures. I'm really not a fan of the new stuff. our shoddy wifi is too slow for it and my phone's too small to type out blogs (reason I haven't been doing it). bleh.
anywho .. I also cut my hair off. was looking to do it for some time now, but my ex wouldn't let me. he was too obsessed with really long hair so I never dared. I mention to my guy that I wanted to do something different and he was all, "why don't you cut it off?" and two days later .. I surprised him with a new haircut (which he loves .. and so do I)
I'm kind of thinking that that's about it. I think. oh!! I booked the honey's 30th birthday gift the other day which I am soooooo damn excited about. I want so bad to announce what it is, but I'm afraid he'll manage to find this and he doesn't want to know what it is. I'm so great with secrets .. but it's absolutely killing me that I can't tell him. as soon as I tell him .. i'll be sure to come here right away to scream it (or type it) at the top of my lungs (or .. tips of my fingers?).
so .. off to gobble down this billy club from jimmy john's and get dressed for work!!
