good evening everyone.
tonights journal concerns my car.
i just spent more on my car then i've ever spent on anything else in my life.
first, i got an oil change, and since i hadn't had one in like 8 months, they had to do a bunch of other shit, and it end up costing 265 dollars.
then, i had to get a new stereo to replace the current, broken one, and that cost almost 250 dollars.
then i had to pay my ticket for having an expired inspection sticker, which was 75 dollars (by the way, does anyone else think it's fucking stupid that i get a ticket for 25 bucks, then have to pay 49 dollars in "court costs" when i'm not even going to court? it takes 49 dollars worth of my money for someone to open my envelope, take the check out, and put it in a cash register? but, i digress)
tomorrow i will have to actually get it inspected, which will cost who knows how much. god forbid anything doesn't pass the inspection, then i have to pay to have that corrected.
so, the moral for this evening is:
when the fuck are they gonna invent teleporters???

seriously. we hit the year 2000. shouldnt we being flying cars now and have robot maids. i want a fucking robot maid. one that cooks AND cleans!

I think I was just kidding about the SG as in joke thing, but if it were true, I don't know where I'd stand. As for Kierkegaard, I don't know if I really like him that much, just what comes after him. Blind faith makes me kind of uncomfortable; I'm much more interested in intuition, as it draws on cultural context and history in a much wider way.
