So I've been sick. I woke up last Thursday to a really bad cold and figured I had just caught a cold. I went up to my Grand-Parent's cottage on the weekend and spent the whole time in bed. My Aunt who's a nurse was seriously concerned and said I had all the symptoms of swine flu. She said she gets reports at work and last Thrusday and Friday there were 150 confirmed cases of swine flu in Ottawa. So Monday morning I called in sick, then called my doctor to book an appointtment. They wouldn't even let me come in to the clinic! I was assessed by the nurse over the phone and told I most likely had swine flu. She told me to stay in bed for at least a week until I feel better and they faxed me a prescription for antibiotics and a doctor's note for work. So I've been in bed all week feeling like total shit and going completely insane with boredom. I woke up this morning feeling a little better so hopefully I'll be over this crap by next Monday so I can go back to work.

I saw No Doubt in Montreal on Wednesday night! They were AMAZING and so nostalgic. We got general admission tickets so that we could have room to dance and by the end of the night I was completely exhausted. I'm sure the concert didn't help me at all with getting better but I couldn't not go!
