Today I am happy about the feel of the fur in Ugg boots, sweaters , the joys of selfless acts, of kindness, a newly appreciated and interdependent sense of self, fresh lemon cake with icing, bike baskets, Ice cream sandwiches, red leotards, wet babies, tobogganing, Hawaiian shirts, real people answering the phone, folding chairs, not acting like I am perfect, meatloaf sandwiches for lunch, football players who don't spike the ball, singing along with movie musicals and reading about cavepeople.


Are you happy? What are you happy about?


It's -35 degrees with the windchill today. I'm convinced that the heating system is broken at work because it's damn cold in my office. I try to think of my happy place (see below) but it's not really making it feel any warmer in here. I wish it was summer...
