So....I've managed do many things since my little eighth graders graduated. This is the first full summer I have had off in years. I spent most of my college years taking classes during the summer, and now that I am finally a working gal my summers are free, free, free. I thought I was going to get bored, but I have been anything but! I have actually had the time to read books that I picked out for myself! Barnaby and I went camping last weekend with our newly engaged friends. I went and visited my sister in Manhattan for a few days. My brother is home from San Diego for a couple of weeks. I spent time at my lovely beach house with the boy and the kitty. I went to a fabulous forth of July party. I watched fireworks with my parents. I've been playing endless hours of video games on our XBOX360 and new widescreen high definition TV. I've even been working out! I haven't worked out in years. Hopefully, a trip to Block Island will be planned soon. Gosh, I love the summer.
