Me: Honey, can you please open the oven and see if the cheese is melted?

Him: Q, check the oven for your mom.

Q: Uh, there's nothing in the oven.

Me: *smacks head*

Me: Honey, can you please put the casserole in the oven? blackeyed

I ordered a bunch of ahi for New Year's Eve. Who's coming over for sashimi?

PS I'm missing the Northwest. I want to have a snowball fight with my guys. I know I wasn't happy there but I still feel so much loss. I wonder if I'll ever feel happy here again. I feel at home, but lonely as hell.

I feel like someone keeps slamming my head in a door. My brain feels like it's floating. I'm nauseous and my head feels heavy and hurty. I don't like this. frown Frankly, it's scaring the shit out of me. This doesn't feel like an expected side effect.

In other news, I found this fascinating.

Also, my son continually amazes me with the quotes he brings home...

If you're getting mr Prock Kubota Hekijyu, I hope you have money. The small bottle is around $60. Or maybe he'd prefer the Kubota Manjyu. The small bottle of that is about $120. Stay away from the Kubota Senjyu though. It's cheap, and you can taste why. Both the Manjyu and the Senjyu are best served chilled.

Post Secret is so good this week. Go check it out. It's way better than anything I could assemble for you here.

I started taking the Zoloft last night. They say it takes 4-6 weeks to build up enough in your system to make a difference. All I know is the last couple weeks I've been so depressed that just looking at these and knowing...

So I'd been feeling kind of disheartened about my job recently. We were supposed to have a building before I started and we still don't have one after 3 months. I don't have the technology I need, my contractors continually make it clear that they resent my being there and I kept thinking I'd soon be fired because corporate would eventually just decide to scrap...

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, the guys from Mythbusters and a Rube Goldberg machine:

I got a new haircut. I love it. Pictures soon. kiss

Oh and Mr. PRock got another raise. It's not going eliminate the gap in our budget but it certainly takes the edge off. This is his second raise since starting this job in September....

Well fuck. I definitely have to get a second job if we're going to make it here. I really only need to come up with an extra $500 a month. So if I find something for 10-15 hours a week even at $10/hr, that would do it. (At least until we have to pony up for our student loans and the inevitable car payment). Once...

Oh man, I completely stopped checking out SG because of the work hours but I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND!
fuck, if it weren't for Paul and his job we'd be worse off than what we are now. I fucking hate being broke off my ass and still working over 40 hrs a week with nothing to show for it.
But that's hawaii for you I guess. I heart you. We all really need to get together sometime.

Hahah. That was great. Now I have to go find that trailer that made The Shining look like a romantic comedy.

I saw that on the 'Tube, but it's still not as scary as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. That shit still gives me nightmares.

Sixteen years ago today I lost my virginity. If I would have thought about it more, I would have avoided the anniversary of the "date that will live in infamy." Now, every year when all the stuff is on TV about Pearl Harbor, it reminds me. Not that it was horrible, but really, who wants to think about their first time? whatever

Ooookay, moving on...

I'm...

First off pierogi is awesome. I you haven't had it I suggest you do. I fry them in butter. Mmmmm, healthy! As for the buffet I'm not sure if it's Hell, but it is close. That explains the high setting on the heater. Then again given the amount of old folks the heat could simply be cranked to help them ward off the icy cold hand of death.
