I sure have missed being able to post here! I was on bed-rest for the majority of my pregnancy due to bleeding issues -- and if not for that, I was having a hell of a time with my hands. Pregnancy and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome do not mix well and my right hand especially was completely numb in three fingers and I couldn't do anything with it. Least of all sitting at my computer and typing.

Very long story short, my little baby arrived a week early and weighed in at 5 pounds 1 oz. (And my doctor was fretting about my weight gain, HA!)
Despite the early arrival and his less than stellar birthweight (and jaundice, for which we spent Christmas Eve and part of Christmas at the Childrens Hospital for treatment), my bitty baby boy is doing very well!

He was born on December 21st at 3:07 AM and my hubby and I named him Wyatt (yes, after Wyatt Earp).

I am so proud to be a mom and I'm so in love with my new little son. I can't wait to try for a daughter!
