I'm leaving for Los Angeles a weel from today. I'm wicked excited because I'll finally live 5 minutes from one of my best friends; but like any huge move I'm nervous as well. I probably shouldn't be... this is the second time I'm make a huge move. First one was from the East Coast back home to Chicago, and not it's Chicago to Los Angeles......

i'm from chicago (wickerpark /bucktown area) and am always homesick
...the closest place to chicago is Los Feliz / Silver Lake / Echo Park area.
At least from what i've found so far in the past 2.5 years...
