I'm waiting for it. I'm hoping for it. The next time George W. Bush talks about the "culture of life", I hope God will knock some sense into him with a well placed bolt of lightening.
I am not very political, but I have to voice my opinion on this subject. I can't take the hypocracy any more. How can someone who is VERY pro-death penalty (check his record of executions while gov. of Texas) advocate, with a straight and serious face, for a culture of life. It's crazy.
Here's my comment to George: You can't pick and choose. Well, I guess YOU can based upon what's popular with your right wing supporters. But in a general sense, a person who supports a "culture of life" cannot add "except for those we deem undesireable, namely convicted murderers."
If all life is worth protecting (meaning the embryos, people in a pvs, etc.) then ALL life is worth protecting. George, stop repeating what Karl Rove feeds you and actually THINK about what you're saying. Please.
