Well, I feel like we've taken a big step towards actually moving - we have an offer on the house. Of course, there are any number of things that could go wrong, so I'm trying not to get too excited.
I'm very conflicted about moving. I have lived in Alabama most of my life, and I love my house. It's our first house, just the perfect size, on the perfect street, in the perfect neighborhood.
Unfortunately, the 'Ham is not the perfect town for my husband and me, so we're off on a new adventure to NC. I'm not big on change (understatement), and while North Carolina is not a BIG change, I know it will be different.
So I'm excited and nervous about moving. Of course, one of the best things about getting a contract is that maybe now I can go 24 hours without making my bed or straightening my house. I could actually LIVE in my house again, before I have to leave it for good.
