I taught my first college class today. I'm teaching the law of Criminal Procedure, and my lecture contained both good and bad sections, but thankfully now it's OVER. I know Wednesday will be better, because the students will have read the homework (I hope) and we'll have something to talk about in class. I was hoping they would talk today, but it was like looking at statues. No one moved. So I tried to fill the time up by talking, but I really didn't have much of a back up plan. Ugh. Oh well, gotta move on.
I am feeling better, but I am still not 100%. I would say I feel about 85%. I should go see the doctor, but honestly I'd rather watch "Eyes Wide Shut" three times in a row than make a doctor's appointment. (In case you haven't seen the movie and don't get the joke, Eyes Wide Shut is really painful to watch.)
