Current touring production of "Phantom" is a nice one. Gary Mauer is a fine Phantom to Marie Danvers' "Christine". This show does not become old. The "Auctioneer" tried too hard, but can you blame him? Besides, he's married to Kate Wray... so, my hat's off to him. Mauer held "the" note... to exit the first Act, so he wins my personal award. Very nice entrance on the staircase as well... in full Death Mask regalia. And, "Don Juan Triumphant" and "Beyond the Lake", well, what can a guy like me say? Applause all around, and many thanks to Mr. Mauer for keeping the seat warm for me. Someday, I shall surprise you wonderful folk.

I am dedicating this week to finding new employment. I don't like the way they treated our Captain during the last month or so, and I'm holding a grudge. I'm also of the mindset that I should probably do more with the drumset than I am at present. So, who knows? You may find me at a wedding or bar mitzvah near you.
