Molly Ivins passed away today, after a long battle with breast cancer (her third battle, actually). Forgetting that she was one of the most prolific liberal thinkers, and placing aside her wit, charm, grace under pressure and her audacious Texas humour, she was a GREAT writer. She was also a wonderful person. She will be sadly missed.
