On Saturday I went to Parksville so that I could take photos of a man touching wood. He kissed it, too. You should have heard him whimpering and moaning. Seriously. This is a man who takes wood VERY seriously. He spent at least a few hours buying six pieces of wood.
On Sunday I walked for a very, very long time. I was planning on taking more photos (a ukulele in Lynn Canyon) but I changed my mind and had an actual day off. It was soooooo nice. I walked from Kerrisdale to English Bay, then up to Pacfic Centre and back. A long walk, but a nice one.
I really want a beer right now.
