Recently I discovered a few things that bother me. One is that I wrote something and had to come to grips with the fact that it sucks. It felt so right while I was writing it, but in the end it's just not something worth... much... at all. That's a rotten feeling. Another thing is my recording setup is driving me crazy. I'm not even remotely happy with it. And finally, I discovered Sudoku. At first I thought it was lame, but I found an opensource javascript version and put it on my website for my dad to play. Then I played it. And enjoyed it.

Damnation.

Oh. You know, I've never written a song. I don't even know how that particular type of inspiration works. Do you get a bit of melody in your head and sort of embroider the rest around that, or what?
