well i have stopped being grumpy. despite an entirely too emotional day, i have pulled through in good spirits. mostly thanks to a few select folks, and of course, d20.
this afternoon i decided i should go take telus up on their evil anti-fido deal. you see, fido doesn't have coverage where i am moving to so i figured i should take their free phone and whatnot. i arrive at the telus store, pick out my phone, wait a half an hour for an employee to get my phone out of the stock room, only to find out that i cannot get a phone with telus because i don't have a credit card nor do i have a driver's license. grrr. lack of phone is not good. i have to figure something out and i will not use pay as you go because it just is not cost efficient when you are living across the country from your family.
after this i decided that i needed a new coat. a new stylish black coat that might compare to the wonderful prada coat i saw at the beginning of the season. only not so insanely expensive. did i find said coat? oh yes. many times. did they ever fit? oh no! small certainly didn't. nothing came or was in stock in extra small. no zeros or twos, only fours. grrr. not impressed. however, to make up for the lack of coats, i bought more m.a.c. makeup. i am a m.a.c. whore! i need help. i purchases a pretty new blush, and de menthe eyeshadow. yummy.
tomorrow im going to start doing pilates. tomorrow my cats will stare and laugh on the inside as i do my pilates. tomorrow i will also clean the crockpot that has been sitting inside my fridge for a year. no, thats a lie, i wont. i am still scared of it. the next day. maybe.
oh! i have decided to be smart, and take my snowboard with me when i move. hopefully i will use it. hopefully. you know. with the mountains and all?
if i ever get outside that is. there are things that might keep me elsewhere.
did i mention i received a very large copy of don quixote for christmas? i am so overjoyed about this. i cannot wait to start into its 900 pages. i have been longing to read it ever since i heard a bit about a side story on the cbc. huzzah!
also, it appears as though leveling my warrior to 13 will not occur this evening. perhaps tomorrow. after i get a great deal of packing done. no doubt i will procrastinate it and still not get any of it done. i think it is because i have a lot to do, and i will only realize the vast amount of things to do, once i start actually doing them. so you know, i procrastinate instead. counterproduction at its best. now, sort of back to topic a. of the paragraph, i do hope our super nerdy new years second option plans works out. aaaaanyway.
