I just got back and had about 7 Tivoed episodes...The show just keeps getting better! As for the officer thing I understand...I thought I could do better too and that's why I became one. I've seen horrible too often and thought I'd put my money where my mouth was...Sometimes you do get good ones that understand what their role is but othertimes...eh.

Officers. Yeah. Bad ones can ruin your week, if not get you dead. I've been doing little but think how the low quality of senior O's and staff NCO's is responsible for the mess we're in. Worse, like a retard, I've volunteered to go back to Afghanistan with an ETT. Violates my second rule of uniformed service: NEVER deploy to a combat zone after the initial six months has elapsed.

Of note, if the O's start to get to you, you may discuss a desire to kill officers, but do not imply that you have any plans to actually commit such an unthinkable deed. From my times with the nice doctors...
