I can't help but feel sad due to the passing of Tim Russert. I was never an avid Meet the Press watcher, but my late mother was. Every time I see one more tribute to him, I think about how sad she'd be to see that he's gone now.
This is not a blog about my mother. This is a blog about Tim Russert. He was one of the only TV News personalities that I made much time for. In an era of Bill O'Reilly and Lou Dobbs "I'll tell you how it is" punditism, Tim Russert charged forward to get the truth, not to further his agenda. Not many people are left like him. I'll miss him.
