So, I am home.
Got home Wednesday. Got to see Sid and Trevor before they left for Cancun. Then I ended up taking care of my friend Dave who was too drunk to really do anything. Yeah. The day I get home from fucking Iraq, *I* end up being the responsible one.
Fucked up, I tell you.
I think tonight will be a good drinking night. And tomorrow will totally be a good drinking day. Why? Because Penn State is playing Ohio State and I can watch it IN A FUCKING BAR! The way sports are MEANT to be watched--with strangers and alcohol.
So, I promised Sid I'd make my blogs less emo than when I was deployed. I plan on sticking to this. I plan on pursuing hobbies to help keep my mind of of dating crappiness.
I need to get a cord for my camera (I'm not sure where my USB-Camera cord went), or probably better yet, a flash card reader. I took some pictures when I was on a layover in Spain. How bad is it that I was thinking "Oh, how cool would it be if Liv was from Rota and I ran into her!" SG, man... You motherfuckers are a part of my life now. I also took some pictures when I was walking around post.
So, expect to see more pictures and less blogs about loneliness. Oh, and expect...
I dunno, I have no idea what to expect out of life anymore, so don't try to expect what's going to happen next from me. I have a feeling big changes are going to happen between now and when I deploy again in a few months (I know... I know... Hey, I deploy more often, but for less time. I would much rather stick with my 7 months on, 7 months off cycle than go for 15 months straight.) Who knows what they will be, but I can smell them coming.

Nice to hear you made it back, especially to hang out with Sid and Trevor - good people they are (rather yoda-like little comment)....I don't think you are too emo - you're stuck in iraq, its lonely, you are dealing with a heirarchy which is about as dysfunctional as the place i am...so I don't think you are emo. Now go forth and drink!
