I got word back from my Branch Manager, the fellow who handles assignments for everyone in my particular career field. No go on going to Ranger Regiment. Dammit. They won't have NCO slots until well after I leave California, so I can't go there. 1/10th Special Forces Group in Stuttgart, Germany is full. Dammit.
It's looking like I will be going to either 173rd Airborne Brigade in Bamburg, Germany or 10th Special Forces Group (the rest of it) in Ft. Carson, CO.
So. That is likely where I will end up come January. One of those two places.

be skeptical...very, very skeptical...as nothing is what is seems...and no one really exists in the mystical and mythical land of SG...fine, i confess...i'm addicted to coffee and a voyeur (did i spell that correctly?)of beautiful, naked women...isn't that vice enough?

Croatia? Hadn't thought of that...That would be cool...I think I'll check into it...I would love to go to Poland (I know..) My grand-mum and mum came to the states after WWII as displaced persons, I'd love to see the village where my grand-mum is from and then go to Auschwitz (her village is 10 km from there) - we lost all of our family during the war, so I need to start there (is that makes sense)...Hope you had a good weekend...(I had alot of coffee tonight - I am quite chatty - well typey - but I'm sure you understand)
