I didn't do so well on the Speaking Test I took. DUmb mistakes, like speaking in the WRONG FUCKING TENSE.

Anyway, I'm over it.

In general, life is good. I am fairly mellow, can't wait for the weekend to relax. I haven't had a whole weekend off in a while. Just want to lay back and not do a damn thing.

Talking on the...

Right on.

And the last thing I wrote was : are you kissing the screen .......... ? in that case . muah. *eyes shut*

You must admit that you chose a very difficult place to be regarding that kind of subject. I hope it never comes to a point of no return.
Still it's good to see you're not taking a passive point of view and Corporate influece is most likely not to work on people like you. I guess that's more important than many people think, because perhaps your hands are tied, but you at least know what's going on.

Interestingly enough, I rarely look at the pictures of the Suicide Girls, instead lurking around on the groups and boards.

Weird, eh?

I am not sure if I have turned a corner or not in Serbian. I am able to formulate sentences with a certain degree of ease now. They hooked us up with iPods and iTalks so we are going to start recording voice...

Since you're in Monterey, it's worth checking out Creative Visions Tattoo down on Lighthouse Ave. across from Kinkos.

Ask for Sean, Brandon, or Margi. Check them out they're a good shop.

I use to go to Santa Cruz for tattoos until this shop opened.

The Big Sur Marathon, I'm not running the marathon this year. But I'm on a corporate relay team, 5 men, 5 leg relay. There is also a female and mixed relay.

I think everything might be closed for this year except the 5k. You should check out the 1/2 marathon though. Its and easy route right along our Monterey and Pacific Grove coast line. It's a lot of fun as well.

There are a couple of other fun runs coming up. The "Wharf to Wharf", Santa Cruz wharf to the Capitola wharf. Also the "Bay to Breakers" in San Francisco.

I have to go fix a broken john handle or I could tell you more. Just Google the race names and you'll get more info.

I am again in the coffee joint, enjoying the fact that I can for a few hours, not be reminded about my job.

Some middle aged gamers are talking about a Fantasy Hero game. Wow. I haven't seen anyone play the Hero System in like ten years. An even then, it was just those old gamers who have a rich sense of RPG history. I...

I've playerd Cthulhu several times and I really really enjoy it. It's the sense of "cotidianity" it gives, and the fact that the odds of actually performing magic are practically null.
I love the sheer madness. Still it's the Master I should blame for making it so entertaining.

You're right, too many Vampire players are simple annoying. I guess everyone wants to be clinically gothic these days. biggrin
poolboy6:
Cthulhu is probably the best horror game I've ever played. I love it. Plus, it's the first game I've ever played where the adventures published are better than 99% of what I can come up with.

I am rested, clean, and caffinated. Just waiting to hear what everyone is up to.

Monterey is only as good a town as the friends you have.

Still, the barista is very cute and she makes a mean mocha.

The same reason I like the smell of gasoline - it's strong, unmistakable, and high-inducing.

......rested .......clean ...... caffienated. Isn't that the best feeling in the world - out to conquer all, right ? robot

The fatigue sets in at this point and the fight to stay awake for FOUR...MORE...HOURS...

How the fuck did I do this all the time when I was younger? How the fuck did I stay up so long douring the fucking invasion?

I guess I don't have crazy ass youthful adrenaline.

Well, I tried working on homework. Not happening on a Friday.

And I am...

My test went better than expected. I am confident got a B- or better on each test, so I should be off Special Assistance and will actually have my Tuesdays and Thursdays free again. I'll find out Thursday.

I'm on duty all night tonight. Nothing like a 26 hour day. It's all good. I get Saturday off now!

Wait a sec...

Today I am in much better spirits for my test tomorrow. I will not fear the listening section. It's the last one that is part of this godforsaken pilot program. After this, we go to the time-tested curriculum that isn't fucking broken.

Good luck on your test! smile

Ahem.

I doubt I'll be getting out of control with this journal. I barely have enough time to update my Myspace blog (which left my LiveJournal an abandoned, dessicated husk), so this one might not always be too cool.

I should be doing homework and studying right now. I am just not the biggest fan of this studying thing. Never have been, not at any...
