a lot of schools are very competitive with the psych programs now because sooooooooooo many ppl choose that as a major. What I am doing is majoring in international relations but taking a bunch of psych classes too...gonna weasle it in there. heh.

I think it's just human nature sometimes to put blame on inanimate object, other people, or situations. Of course in the end most people come to their senses, deal with it, and move on. Gotta love the fact that if one bad thing piles up on top of another, eventually that pile's going to fall. You can pick up the pieces and move forward.

There is something that comes with my line of work that means I will lose too many friends too early. There is a sad resignation when it's one of my fellow soldiers. The feeling that I have now is nothing like it. The only time I can compare was the death of my mother. This is a close second in strength.

I never really looked @ bars as a place for picking up girls. I always used that outlet for hanging out w/ friends and having some brews. Drinking isn't fun IMO unless you're using it (I use beer for example...not really a liquor type of guy) in conjunction w/ socializing. True, I usually have a beer when I get home from work (ex: When I got home this morning I had a brew just after 8AM...funny, huh?)
