Gah!
So Im out last night with people doing thingsyou know, stuff. Anyways, the conversation eventually turns to my past girlfriends. Never a good sign. Soon enough, our coffee talk (wed already got kicked out of a bar) turned into a demented McLaughlin Group with my love life as the topic for discussion. It was decided that I would make a good father, husband, and fianc; its just as a boyfriend that I suck. If only I could get past the first three dates, Id be fineeveryone I know has agreed.
I should just be glad that it has been decided.
Gah!
On another topic, Ive got another story idea I want to put down before I forget. Im combining two thoughts I had, really.
Alex, our Killer with No Depth Perception, has been working over mob properties for a while now, and he has grown to be a nuisance to several factions. Thus, a stereotypical greatest assassin in the world has been dispatched after him. (If he wasnt such a good murderer, his obsession with style would put him out of a job.) Alex believes he is going to shut down a meth lab, but it is all really a trap to kill him.
He and the assassin (Ill call him Graham for now) face off. Graham is quite proud of his shiny Desert Eagle and scoffs at Alexs utilitarian Glock. (For those of you who dont know guns, the DE is one of the largest and most powerful guns in the world while the glock, being made of a plastic polymer, is among the lightest for its size and caliber.)
Quickly, the duel becomes a knockdown, drag out fightliterally. They knock over a table with the chemicals for the lab. Both manage to shield their important bits, but theyre hands and legs are burned. Graham and Alex lay on the floor, still in the midst of bloodlust. Graham tries to move his Desert Eagle in position to shoot the helpless Alex, but its too heavy and it barely scrapes along. Alexs glock, on the other hand, is light and moves quite easily. Graham is still trying to get his gun in position, but he knows hell be too slow.
Graham: Isnt this where you say Yippe Kay Aye Mother Fucker? Or asta la vista, or something?
Alex. I dont do one liners. (Mouths what he just said to himself) Shit.
Bam
I need to know if thats any good. That is, is it dramatic and does the funny come across? Anyone honest reading this?
