I did it! I'm done! biggrin Yay! I can finally rest. It hasn't really been that bad, I just needed to vent somewhere. Anyways, it's over and now I get to go back to working full time. Yay. Woo.

I took finals very seriously. Very seriously indeed. I brought some notes with me to study before while I waited for the movie to start. Go me! I saw Kill Bill Vol 2. I have this whole spiel about revenge films, but I'll spare you just this once.

Kill Bill has inspired me. I have an idea for another story for a comic book series. Okay yes, i'm a comic book geek. I hadn't gone to a comic store for a decade, but then Neil Gaiman had a new series. Now I'm addicted to like fifty series. Grrrr...

Anyways, I've combine two different ideas I had. I see it as a post, post modern story. Its about a one-eyed assassin/superhero named Wednesday (you have to know Norse Mythology or the works of Neil Gaiman to get that one). I picture the origin story of the comic book like this: hes left for dead but ready to kick ass. He realizes he wants to hide his identity for a time, and he looks across the street and there is a costume shop with an ultra badass postmodern superhero costume. Kind of like something from the X Men movies but with a mask and a cape. This gives me an idea, he thinks. Then he goes next door to the survivalist store and comes out dressed in an urban BDU (i.e. -battle dress uniform/fatigues for fighting in a city) with one of those ski mask things on obscuring his face. I think the first few comics would have him searching for crime to fight, but unfortunately most criminals don't do too many illegal activities on the street. (Well, when you're looking for it anyways.) Maybe it'll be a "Wagon Train" kind of thing where he travels from city to city looking for trouble.

I think the origin story would be called The Killer with No Depth Perception. I know how lame all of that sounds, but it works in my head. I figure that he can just about never get beaten, except if his opponent starts attacking him on the side hes missing the eye. Maybe shes missing the eye. Im going to think about this one for a bit.

I lost everybody reading this like twenty minutes ago. Hey, congratulate me on finishing finals, damn it. wink That is all.

That sounds like a good idea for a story. I've always been able to come up w/ really cool comic book characters and I always write backround stories next to their pictures, but I find it hard to somehow fit them all together and create an original tale. So I just have this big collection of cool looking, kick-ass superheroes and such without any bad guys to fight or people to save. They're really bored. frown

Congrats on ur finals!

You're so right about Angel and Spike. That episode was hilarious. I'm really glad they brought Spike onto the show. Angel and he have always had good dialogue.

I can completely understand why we're not allowed to taste, and yeah it kinda sucks. However, it makes for the coolest homework I've ever had.

I too like the title Killer with no depth perception.
