OK... so I"m going to write a book one day and the titles, so far, are narrowed down to:
WHATS WRONG WITH THINGS
or
WHY YAKS HAVE THREE MOTHERFUCKIN TOES
I can't decide. Anyhow. I'm not so bad right now. I generally think things are... but people pretty much save me. I'm realizing that in a really hardcore way. For the most part I'm kind of solitary, but then when things get really tough, people merge from the woodwork... and they do things that really chill me out and set the world right again and prove that things are worth it... worth the fight, worth the effort, worth the hope. And for that.. if you're a person... I thank you.
Four weeks ago I was really depressed... lost faith in all humanity.. and it's really weird to write down on paper, but a girl learnign Origami who I never met before, instantly restored everything just by grabbing my arm and saying ,"C'mon... lets go see if it flies!" The other night, it was my local neighborhood barista and coffeeshop owner, who upon seeing something in the dumpster that they thought I'd like, dug in and pulled it out... and it wasn't a little something... it was FOUR HUGE ASS Archiving Drawers wighting about forty pounds each... and they hauled them about a block back to their shop... and cleaned them up and set them to the side. And when I came in, they grabbed me and said that they saved these from destruction because they thought I MIGHT want them. And I just think that's the most awesome thing in the world. Beyond words. Even IF I didn't want them.. THAT much effort... because they saw something... and thought I MIGHT be able to use it. That rocks. And coming as an island of relief in a sea full of brutal realizations and overwhemling realities, it meant the world. So... if anyone is even reading this... and even gives a shit like someone what me would think.. I wouldn't even suggest that you try doing something nice for someone... I'd just say be cool. On a really fundamental and simplisticly amazing level. Be fucking amazingly good. And do good things in general.. if possible, don't even think about it... just go and knock it out. I know there's a "me" out there somewhere, and straight-up they just might NEED what you're gonna do, like you just can't believe.
Thanks for reading this. Good luck.
