We just finished decorating our Christmas tree.
We got the boxes down from the loft, and I put the tree up while my parents went out for lunch. I listened to a mix CD that Liziefer made for me. Typically... special, it segued from Dizzee Rascal to Disney to Gym Class Heroes and The Weepies. She makes very... interesting mixes

When my parents got back we put on some Christmas music and busted our the decorations. Pretty soon, we had this:
Feels more like Christmas now. We drank some mulled wine and listened to Bing Crosby. That era of Christmas songs just feels most appropriate.
Now I'm listening to Jets to Brazil and making mix CDs for friends and for next Friday, when Liziefer and I DJ at Quarantine.
There's lots of other stuff going on at the moment in my life, but none of it's bad. I'm liking this moment.
