Yet again I am single. After asking me to reconsider a day after she dropped me, she has found someone else less than a week later. Damn near broke my heart with a 1am AIM conversation. Can't dwell on it though, that's the kind of thing that destroys people. After i secure my second job next week, I'm going to throw myself into everything and anything. Drawing, writing, designing, reviewing... I just want to do something new and different.
Went and saw Toy Story 3 a few days back. I loved it, and the feeling of youth it gave me. I remember the first being this really unusual and new thing - 3D films, all animated. So different for the time. Now a dime a dozen, yet in my mind it stands out as one of the few true greats.
Hoping to catch either Inception or something else over the next week, although the male genes in me cry out for The Expendables. It will either be the greatest piece of brainless action entertainment ever produced, or a real mess. In any case, Jason Statham will kick ass.
I picked up some old China Mieville books from a second hand book store. I read UnLunDun ages ago, and really found his writing a fresh take on a story. So I'll see what his other books feel like to me.
Still no music interest recently. My now ex was offering me a few ideas and new bits she was into, but I don't think I'll be seeing too far into those now.
Well, I'm hoping the next week goes better than this one.
Hope you all have a good one.
